This outdoor kitchen was an addition to the original home. We worked with the home's original materials to keep the same feel of the house while also implementing the new design elements the homeowner wanted featured in the kitchen. The orientation and layout of the kitchen maximized views to the golf course while allowing various access points to the yard, pool and home.
This project's driving factors were to create detailed elements throughout the space that would reflect southern architecture while using as mulch reclaimed material as possible; while commissioning the best craftsmen to implement it. Handmade copper lanterns, hood vent, fireplace mantle, copper screens, wrought iron and cabinetry all display the time and dedication lost in pre-manufactured kits often seen in magazines.
